NSF funds 4 new projects for AI2ES faculty
The NSF has funded 4 new projects totally over $3 million that will be directed by AI2ES leadership and research affiliates. This investment comes from the Collaborations in Artificial Intelligence and Geoscienes (CAIG) program that aims to advance the development and implementation of innovative AI techniques in the geosciences.
Congratulations to Dr. Maria Molina (University of Maryland, College Park), Dr. David John Gagne II (National Center for Atmospheric Research, NCAR), Dr. Imme Ebert-Uphoff (Colorado State University), and Dr. Nate Snook (University of Oklahoma), all of whom will serve as PI on their respective projects.
