The Conrad Blucher Institute for Surveying and Science at TAMU-CC has created the CBI Scientific Leadership Team to guide its continued evolution. AI2ES Co-PI, Dr. Philippe Tissot, has been appointed as the CBI Chair for Coastal Artificial Intelligence (AI). Dr. Michael Starek, an AI2ES Team member, has been appointed as the CBI Chair for Remote Sensing and Autonomous Systems for Geometrics. The appointments will include access to CBI endowment funds to further develop their research agendas.
